I spent my early childhood in Iowa, moved to Minnesota while a teenager, completed High School in Owatonna, MN and graduated with a BTh degree from Crossroads College. After marrying Linda McAliley, we spent two years in youth ministry at the Stilwell, OK Christian Church before entering missionary work in Zambia. We spent fifteen years in a church planting ministry in Zambia then moved to Malawi for another five years. Due to voice problems, we left the foreign mission field and joined Turkish World Outreach in Grand Junction, Colorado where we served for twenty years. Ten of those years I served as Field Director which involved recruiting and sending church planters into the Turkic world. Upon retirement from TWO, I joined the staff of Clifton Christian Church where I serve as an Associate (Minister Involvement). Linda and I have two children, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
